NEW DELHI: The anointing of Sonia Gandhi’s political successor assumed a public hue with the Congress placing the entire credit of its success in the by-elections at young Rahul Gandhi’s doorstep. The grand old party’s thank you note to the heir apparent could not have been more elaborate, given its geographical stretch — from Assam to Kerala, by their reckoning, every win was an outcome of his “vision’’. In a grand gesture, the Congress virtually handed over the political initiative and the credit of reviving the party’s footprint across the country to Rahul. “Behind the Congress victories in Kerala, West Bengal, Assam, Uttar Pradesh… is the visible and invisible hand of Rahul Gandhi. It is his message, image and work that are being rewarded,” Congress spokesperson Abhishek Manu Singhvi waxed eloquent. Interestingly, Congress president Sonia Gandhi was not mentioned. His political mentor Digvijay Singh too was forgotten.

As Sonia maino has been colluding and collaborating with Karunanidhi, perhaps, she has learnt that trick of cheating Hindus posing as “Hindus” and blaspheming “Hindus”.

It always works for the naive, innocent, meek, mild……………….Hindus!!

UP Govt Bans Book for Publishing Prophet’s Imaginary Picture
    Lucknow | Nov 12, 2009 – OUTLOOK

The Uttar Pradesh government has banned a book in which an “imaginary
picture” of Prophet Mohammad was printed by the publisher, officials
    said here today.

“The book Udiyaman Bhartiya Samaj Mein Sikshak, which carried an
imaginary picture of Prophet Mohammad, has been banned by the
government after approval of Governor B L Joshi,” a senior home
    department official said.

He said the ban had been imposed citing reason that printing picture
was against the tenet of Islam and could hurt religious sentiments of
a particular religion, which may further lead to law and order

Written by Karn Singh, a retired teacher, the Hindi book was published
by Govind Prakashan from Lakhimpur Kheri district.

The government has directed all the district magistrates and SPs to
immediately seize all the copies of the book available in the market,
    the official said.

“The district officers have been directed to arrest any person found
possessing the book, besides banning its further printing or
    translation,” the officer said.

The Lakhimpur Khiri district administration on July 27 had filed an
FIR against the publisher, and seized 621 copies of book.

Later Karn Singh, the author of the book was also arrested by police
    for distorting facts about Islam.
