Braveheart Rukshana and Sardar Patel!
Sardar Patel, the real Architect of India forgotten! Today October 31, 2009 has been the Sardar Patel’s 134th birthday, but only a few could remember him! Today morning, purposely I sent e-mails to the leading TV-channels mentioning about it, but none cared. I waited till 9’ O clock news, but nothing happened, whereas, the TIMES-NOW went on repeating the story of Braveheart Rushana” of Kashmir!
I do not know how these bloody Indians could forget Sardar Vallabhbai Patel (1875-1950), without him, there could not have been India, where we have been living. Had he been the PM, there would not have been Kashmir issue at all.
“Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s dream to make United of India. They were known for his Iron will and indomitable courage. They brought about the merge of 565 of princely states with the Indian Union and became the architect of the integrity of India. Honest in word and deed, they were hero among heroes, lion among men. Today we require this kind of thought and determination to make India powerful again and fulfill his dream.”
Rukshana praised on October 31, 2009: On the night of September 27, a group of LeT militants barged into Rukhsana’s house and tried to abduct her. Rukhsana fought with them bravely. She used all her force to push a terrorist to wall, overpowered him, punched him several times, snatched his rifle and killed him in a dual combat. She also injured another militant, when they fled.
Rukhsana was commended for her bravery all over India. President Dr. Pratibha Patil, Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh and Union Home Minister P Chidambaram had appreciated her courage. The Centre has already announced a bravery award for her.

In a revenge attack, militants on Friday night hurled two grenades at the house of Rukhsana Kausar, the woman who shot into national limelight by taking on armed terrorists of Lashkar-e-Toiba killing one of them, but she was not present there at the time of the incident.
Indira Gandhi remembered on October 21, 2009: The de facto and de jure PMs of India could do the ritual of remembering Indira Gandhi. Even Sikh riots have been mentioned with the remarks that they are no takers for “Khalistan” in Canada!
